I have now at longlast purchased a Flying Scotsman but only the coal wagon has the motors and the adhesive weight makes the loco "Skid" is this a design fault or somethingto do with my track?

if the loco is hornby then the tender(coal truck)is powered but its not a design flaw or your track
they just got it totaly wrong

i had the same problem
